Our Pillars

Education

Advancing inclusive education, skills development, and lifelong learning for underserved children and youth.

Learning That Unlocks Potential

At RYTHM Foundation, we believe education is one of the most powerful drivers of social transformation. It opens doors, reduces inequality, strengthens communities, and gives children and youth the confidence to shape better futures.

For education to create a lasting impact, learning must be accessible, equitable, inclusive, and future-ready. It must also go beyond academics by helping children and young people build the knowledge, skills, confidence, and emotional resilience to understand their challenges, overcome barriers, and realise their full potential.

RYTHM Foundation supports a holistic approach to education that includes academic learning, inclusive education, support for special education needs, capacity building, vocational and skills training, emotional intelligence, soft skills, and personal development.

Over the years, we have invested in initiatives that expand access to learning for some of the world’s most vulnerable communities. These include supporting preschools during the pandemic, enabling elementary education for indigenous children, strengthening learning opportunities for youth, and advancing education for children with special needs.

Our Initiatives

Through every education initiative, our goal is to use learning as a pathway to empower lives, reduce inequality, and support sustainable community development.

Taarana

Special Education Needs & Cognitive Development

Unlocking Every Child’s Potential

Taarana is an award-winning holistic educational, developmental and readiness centre that supports neurodivergent children, including those on the autism spectrum, through specialised education, therapy, behavioural support, and life-skills development tailored to each child’s unique needs. Recognised with the PEEAM Award for Best Special Education Needs School in 2024, Taarana has established itself as a trusted centre for inclusive education and child development.

Over 15 years, the school has evolved from a special education centre into an integrated learning environment that balances cognitive development with behavioural support, functional academics, therapy, and community-facing advocacy. Its growth has been marked by stronger programmes, multidisciplinary support, and signature events such as its Sports Day, Annual Day, and the Walk for Autism, which promote awareness, inclusion, and family engagement.

Through low student-to-educator ratios, Taarana ensures each child receives individualised attention and support tailored to their developmental needs. Its programmes include the Early Intervention Programme, which focuses on motor skills, self-regulation, and foundational communication; the Transition Programme, which builds adaptive behaviours, classroom stamina, and readiness for functional academics; and the Pre-Vocational Programme, which develops independent living skills and prepares students for greater autonomy.

The school has also introduced a Zero-Waste and 3Rs Education Initiative across all programmes to build environmental awareness among neurodivergent learners, supported by the custom educational book, The Magic of Recycling.
